Can I Keep Cooking if My Wolf Hood Is Broken?
Yes, for short, gentle cooking with a window open — simmering, boiling, reheating. - Open a window before you light anything — two on opposite sides of the room move more air than one.
- Keep the flame at low to medium and put lids on the pans, so less steam, smoke and grease reach the room.

Why the hood matters over gas
Gas burners add heat, moisture and combustion fumes to the kitchen on top of whatever the pan gives off. A working hood carries all of it outdoors; without one, it hangs in the room.
